BJC: An evolution of excellence

1 of 2

The Kingdom of Bahrain has a rich history of being masters of excellence in the jewellery industry.

For generations, Bahrain has been home to prized brands and key players in the jewellery and watch industry, and among them the kingdom’s most recognised jewellery house, Bahrain Jewellery Centre (BJC).

BJC was founded by the late Abdulrazzak Shirazi, Abdulmajeed Shirazi and Dr Abdulqassim Shirazi in the heart of Manama Suq, offering luxury goods, including jewellery and watches.

From the onset, the Shirazi family set in motion solid core values for their business: high quality, exceptional customer service and a passion for excellence.

Currently, the BJC legacy continues to grow under the leadership of the second generation of young businessmen and women led by Dina Shirazi, Abbas Shirazim Mohammed Shirazi and Ahmed Shirazi.

Over the past 39 years, BJC has expanded to 20 shops and boutiques across Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, including Moda Mall, Bahrain City Centre, the Four Seasons and Ritz-Carlton.

Its customers can choose from renowned watch brands, such as Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, Frank Muller, A. Lange & Sohne, Jaeger le Coultre, Harry Winston, Bvlgari, Groubel Forsey, Piaget, Hubolt, Charles Oudin, Omega, Chopard, Tiffany and Co, Tag Heuer and more.

With BJC, customers always receive a little extra panache. Featuring vintage collections of high-end watches that never go out of fashion to its Baby Collection that offers sophisticated gifts to inspire the next generation, BJC is a family business with family values.

Our dedicated team travels yearly to SIHH watch fair in Geneva and Basel fair to handpick the best brands for its customers.

This exceptional jewellery house also offers unique crystal objects from Kosta Boda in addition to gift items for young children and babies at its BJC Baby store.

BJC has reopened an enhanced and expanded Patek Philippe Boutique at Moda Mall for its watch aficionados.

Also, BJC announces the opening of its renovated and expanded boutique of Omega in Moda Mall.

The boutique reflects the rich heritage of the brands through several iconic elements which reinforce the corporate architectural quality.

“We always choose only the best brands for our customers,” said BJC general manager Iqbal Dhanse.

“We are very proud to share with you the partnership with world renowned Graff Diamonds.

“Graff makes extraordinary fine diamond jewelries and outstanding Swiss timepieces for men and ladies inspired by diamonds and we are also pleased to introduce Nomos from Germany, March Lab from France, Titoni from Swiss, and Sinn from Germany to our clientele.”

BJC continues to grow as it expands to locations such as Oasis Mall, which will be announced shortly.

Since 1992, the Kingdom of Bahrain has been the centre of the region’s largest and most prestigious jewellery exhibition, Jewellery Arabia, greatly inspired by BJC.

High profile designers, jewellery houses and watch manufacturers showcase their exclusive pieces and new collections at these exhibitions and the BJC is the largest featured host at this exhibition.

The highlight of this year is after an interval, Graff, the most fabulous jewellers in the world, are participating in the BJC stand with luxury watch collections and exceptional diamonds handpicked by the Graff family.

This year, BJC will be showcasing spectacular new jewellery and watch brands under its umbrella.

Without a doubt, BJC has a worldwide excellent reputation and will continue to maintain a stronghold in the jewellery and watch industry for many years to come.

It is a company with all the hallmarks of a true industry leader.
