THE all-new Flying Spur was unveiled by Bentley Motors and Behbehani Brothers at a grand ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay.

With the ultimate Grand Touring sedan, the British luxury automotive manufacturer has pushed the boundaries of both technology and craftsmanship to deliver segment-defining levels of performance and refinement.

Redesigned from the ground up, the new Flying Spur is powered by a reworked six-litre W12 that delivers 626 horsepower, which is enough to propel the giant car from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.7 seconds and onto a top speed of 207mph – 14mph up from the outgoing model.

“The new Flying Spur is a leap forward in combining the state-of-the-art high technology with a modern ultra-luxurious interior and exterior,” said Bentley Motors Middle East Africa and India area sales manager Neil Harris on the occasion.

“The third-generation new Flying Spur is a showcase of Bentley’s contemporary sculptural design language while bearing the hallmarks of the Crewe-based company’s unique DNA.”

Attending the launch were dignitaries, management and teams from Bentley Motors, Behbehani Brothers, members of the Shirazi family, Bentley enthusiasts, and the media.

“As strategic retail partners of Bentley Motors, we are proud to kick off the New Year on a high note by welcoming the all-new Flying Spur as another feather in our cap of premier global brands under our flagship,” said Behbehani Brothers group general manager Steven Hill.

The starting price of the new Flying Spur is BD108,000.
